The Nursing Department firmly believes that every person has the right to good health. We believe in promoting, maintaining and restoring health to the highest potential. In that sense, individuals have a right to be active participants in achieving health as they perceive it. On the other hand, society includes individuals, families, groups and communities, which together with differences in gender, cultural diversity, race, socio-economic levels, religion, lifestyles, etc., present a complicated and complex healthcare service provision challenge. In this respect, graduates of the Department have a very important role to play.
