Savvas Zannetos holds a Ph.D. degree from the Open University of Cyprus in “Health Management”, focusing on the Economic and Financial Management of Health Services. In addition, he has studied Applied Statistics and Economics in the United States of America. He works as an economist at the Directorate General for Growth. At the same time, he has been researching healthcare for the last ten years, where he has a number of publications in international journals. His research interests focus on Probability and Statistics as well as Economic Assessment and Modeling in Health Economics. In addition, the research activities of Mr. Zannetos are extended to the methodology of open and distance learning and how it affects the educational process.
