From the 20th to the 22nd of November, the 18th Nafplion international Law Conference took place in Nafplion, Greece. Ass. Professor of Criminal Law at Philips University Dr. Fotios Spyropoulos (PostDoc) participated in the conference by making a speech on “Thoughts on dealing with the victim in International Criminal Court” at a session chaired by the Em. Prof. and former judge of the European Court of Human Rights Dr. Christos Rozakis.
The conference has been joined by important personalities and Professors of Law, including among others the former Prime Minister of Greece George Papandreou. Cyprus has been represented by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece Stavros Avgoustidis, in a discussion on the topic “Cyprus: The issue of the ‘Missing’ “.
