Biography

Dr. Zacharakis holds a PhD diploma on Game Theory from the University of Piraeus – Department of Informatics. His thesis “Algorithmic Games and Strategies, Emphasizing on Bargaining” delves into the application of game theory to bargaining, especially in bargaining under uncertainty, and in crisis bargaining.

He has extensive management experience in the Public Sector, having served as a high ranking manager in Managing and Implementation Authorities of Co-funded Programs. He has worked as an IT project manager and has contributed to the digital transformation strategy of organizations.

He has teaching experience in Higher Education (University of Athens – Business Administration Department and Department of Informatics and Telecommunications / ASPAITE – Electronics and Electrical Engineering Departments) and he has served as a School Advisor of Informatics in Secondary Education.

His current research interests are focused on explaining social behavior and political decision making, using Game Theory’s methods.
