Dr Fotios Spyropoulos is at present an Assistant Professor of Law at Philips University. Dr Spyropoulos studied Law at the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens and did postgraduate studies in Criminal Law and Procedure (2008-2010) and in Criminology (2010-2012), with honours) at the same university. He has attended legal courses and courses related to political science, sociology, criminology and forensics at the University of Liege (Belgium). In addition, he completed his studies and received a bachelor’s degree from the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus (Greece).
Fotios Spyropoulos holds a PhD in Criminal Law and Criminology from the Law School of University of Athens – he was awarded the “Heracleitus II” scholarship as the first among the 800 candidates awarded with the same scholarship (grade: 10,00/10,00).
