Mr Moschos Nikos has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Crete, in Greece. Furthermore, he has a Bachelor in Nursing from the Technological Educational Institute of Heraklion in Crete.
For the last 20 years he has been working as a Clinical Psychologist at the Psychiatric Clinic of the General Hospital of Nikaia, Greece. Regarding his nursing experience, he has been working for 10 years at the Psychiatric Sector of the General Hospital of Rethymno and the General Hospital of Heraklion, Crete.
Mr Moschos has a long career in different aspects of his profession. He works as a scientific and research associate in specialized academic health services such as the Postgraduate Course of Special Education at the University of Thessaly, the Center of Integrative Psychotherapy at the University of Thessaly, the Cyprus Institute of Psychotherapy, the Center of Mental Health named «The Tree of Therapy» in Athens, and the Postgraduate Course «Counseling in Addictions» at Philips University, Nicosia.
In terms of his association with the Cyprus Institute of Psychotherapy, he specializes on the following Treatment Programs focusing on addiction behavior disorders: «18 Kato» (a treatment and supporting program against drugs and alcohol behaviors in Adolescents and their families), «Apofasizo» (a treatment and supporting program against drugs and alcohol behaviors in young adults and their families), «PSEMA» (a treatment and supporting program against drugs and alcohol behaviors in long-term alcohol and drug users), «ElectrA» (a treatment and supporting program on internet and gambling addiction), «Paizo, den Empaizomai» (a treatment and supporting program on gambling/gaming addiction).
Mr Moschos is an Integrative Psychotherapist. He specializes on the analysis of personality and intelligence psychometric scales, as well as in psychopathology and psychometric analysis of personality and cognitive abilities.
He is a specialized trainer in psychometric scales and inventories such as Wechsler Scales (WAIS, WISC, WPPSI), Raven’s Educational, MMPI-2, as well as in neuropsychological assessment, learning disabilities’ assessment, achievement’s assessment, and psychological assessment, while he is an instructor in courses examining issues concerning psychopathology, medical psychology, or bereavement.
During his career, Mr Moschos, has been the author or co-author in numerous articles in respected scientific journals, while he has participated in a wide range of international, pan-european, and pan-hellenic scientific conferences, looks at domains such as psychometrics, psychotherapy, psychiatry, medical psychology, research, and psychopathology.
