Marios Socratous is currently the Librarian of Philips University. He holds a BA degree in History from USA (Jersey City State College), and a Master degree in Library and Information Studies from Canada (University of Alberta).
He has been actively involved in advising and tutoring students in the areas of academic writing, library research, and compilation of bibliographies. His professionalareas of interest involve the literary image of librarians in fiction, and the history of Knights Templar in the times of Crusades. He is a professional member of the American Library Association (ALA) of USA.
