Biography

Stelios Kotsios is a Visiting Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Philips University.  He is a Professor in the Department of Economics, Division of Mathematics and Computer Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. His specialization is Applied Mathematics and Control Theory. His research interests lie in the fields of Nonlinear Discrete Control, Nonlinear Discrete Dynamics and Dynamical Economics. He has been scientifically active since 1985, publishing more than 75 papers, reviewing a number of other papers for about 22 journals and conferences and participating in 10 Research Projects.

Professor Kotsios studied Mathematics at the University of Athens, as well as Operational Research and Computer Science. His current professional position is at the University of Athens in the Department of Economics, Division of Mathematics and Computer Science.
