Despina Constantinou holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Nicosia and an MA in Applied Linguistics (TEFL) from the University of Bedfordshire. During her postgraduate studies, she completed a short teaching practice at the university, which helped shape her early approach to language education. Over the years, she has participated in numerous seminars focused on Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) as well as supporting students with learning difficulties, including Mapping Learning & Using Rubrics to Align Learning Outcomes with Instruction and Assessment. Over the past ten years, she has been dedicated to teaching English to students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She has worked with learners across a wide range of proficiency levels, placing particular emphasis on inclusive, student-centered and adaptive teaching practices. In addition to her teaching experience, she has also served as an invigilator for the Cambridge English examinations.
