Professor Adonis Constantinides is the Chairperson of the Department of Education, in the School of Education and Sciences, at Philips University.
He received his BA degree in History and Archaeology from Athens and Kapodistrian University. He holds a Diploma in Education as well as an MA in Educational Administration and Supervision from the American University of Beirut. In 1994, he was awarded his PhD from the University of Durham in the UK.
Professor Constantinides has worked with the Cyprus Ministry of Education and served as the Director of the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus for five years. He has published numerous books and articles based on various educational matters.
