Biography

Constantinos Challoumis received his Ph.D. in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He holds multiple MSc degrees, including an MSc in Physics and Modern Technologies from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, an MSc in Philosophy of Economics (MPhil) from NKUA, an MSc in Mathematical Modeling of Financial Economics and Applied Technologies from NTUA, an MSc in Public Law and Public Administration from NKUA, and an MSc in Advanced Computing Systems Technologies from the University of West Attica. Additionally, he is a candidate for an MSc in Law of Arbitration and International Procedural Law at Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.). His academic background is further supported by multiple Bachelor’s degrees, including a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, a BSc in Economics from NKUA, a BSc in Law from NKUA, a BSc in Political Sciences and Public Administration from NKUA, a BSc in History and Philosophy of Science from NKUA, and a BSc c. in Sociology at NKUA. Dr. Challoumis is an academic and researcher with extensive expertise in finance, accounting, programming and economic modeling, particularly in the Theory of the Cycle of Money. He has authored and coauthored over 700 publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles, working papers, and monographs. He is also a reviewer se leading scientific journals (some of which are found on WoS). His work has been published in leading scientific journals such as Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Economics and Culture, and others. With professional experience spanning multiple disciplines, Dr. Challoumis has worked as a lawyer specializing in civil, commercial, public, and international law, as well as an economist and engineer with a focus on electrical and mechanical engineering, software development, and technical consulting. He has provided consultancy services to both the public and private sectors in various industries, including energy and telecommunications. His current research focuses on financial accounting, financial statement analysis, tax avoidance, and cost accounting, with a particular emphasis on the application of Accountancy Plans in both public and private sectors.
