Dr. Christos Andreou is a Lecturer at Philips University. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Cyprus, a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cyprus. His PhD thesis is titled “Construction and Fitting of Random Field Models to Precipitation Data,” and his Master’s thesis is “VAR with Applications to US Stocks.” He served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cyprus, where he gained significant experience in teaching and supporting students in various statistical subjects. His research interests include Applications of Probability and Statistics, Stochastic Spatio-Temporal Models, and Statistical Inference, with a strong focus on applying Statistics to real-world problems. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the academic and research community through participation in several international studies and conferences.
