Introduction to Nursing Science

Course Description

The purpose of the course is to familiarize the student with the modern Nursing Science by understanding its conceptual and philosophical context and its clinical dimensions. Furthermore, the course describes Nursing’s contribution to disease prevention and treatment, rehabilitation and health promotion.

At the same time, special emphasis is placed on the development of the nursing process so that students understand the management of patient care in a scientific, holistic and dynamic way. Modern nursing theories are also presented and developed.
