The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the main critical problems of air, soil and water pollution from the perspective of health effects. It aims to acquaint students with how various environmental factors affect the state of human health and summarizes the control measures applied to prevent or minimize these negative health effects. It is expected to contribute to students ‘ understanding and control of environmental risks. Covers key concepts such as the natural environment, air, soil and water pollution and public health, environmental and molecular epidemiology and toxicology, specific case studies of health effects, risk assessment, environmental management policies and practices, occupational and environmental medicine, sustainability, green chemistry and environmental justice.
