Course Description

Teamwork and collaboration is at the core of the IT industry. IT professionals are expected to work as members of a team, sometimes being globally distributed around the world, other times being part of multi-disciplinary teams. Software development is thus widely perceived as a group activity and the ability to be a good team player is a skill highly valued by employers.

This course provides an introduction to teamwork and collaboration concepts in the workplace with the aim to help students learn how to participate effectively in teams and other collaborative processes, whilst proactively promoting and supporting collaboration.
