Nancy Papalexandris is a Visiting Professor at Philips University. She is Professor Emeritus in Human Resource Management and founder of the MSc Programme in Human Resource Management of Athens University of Economics and Business. She served as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Personnel for the period 2001-2007 and has represented the Greek Rectors’ Conference at the European University Association.
She has studied Business Administration and obtained a Master’s Degree from New York University and a Ph.D. from the University of Bath in the U.K. She has taught in the undergraduate and post-graduate programs in AUEB and in various E.U. Universities as well as in post-training and management development seminars in Greece and abroad. She has served as university evaluator and PhD examiner in various universities outside Greece.
She has published a number of books and articles in international journals and has organized and participated in many international conferences. She is member of the editorial board of various academic journals and Secretary General of the Greek Association of Women University Professors. She is also President of the Association of Professor Emeriti of AUEB and President of the Bio-Ethics Committee of the Institute of Bio-medical Research of the Academy of Athens.
