Emmanuel Petrakis is Professor of Industrial Organization and Policy, in the Department of Economics at the University of Crete. He is Visiting Professor at the School of Economics and Business of Philips University, Cyprus, as well as Member of the Council and the Internal Quality Assurance Committee at Philips University. He holds a PhD in Economics from UCLA. He was Visiting Professor for many years in Universities in Spain and The Netherlands. His research covers various fields in Economics (Industrial Organization and Business Strategies, Labor Economics and Bargaining, Environmental Economics, Economics of Innovation etc). He has over 60 publications in highly ranked international journals and collected volumes. He has over 900 citations and an h-index 19 in Scopus.
