Course Description

The purpose of the course is to enrich students’ knowledge about the Law of Companies in the Cypriot legal system. More specifically, students become familiar with the basic concepts of corporate law and the operating framework of private and public companies in Cyprus.

Consequently, information is provided on the recent historical context, but also on the general philosophical background of the relevant principles of this law.

Additionally, a relevant debate is taking place so that the current provisions are clearly understood because they have taken their current form.
