Rafaella Karnavalou holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the European University Cyprus, from which she graduated with distinction, earning a 3.82/4.00 GPA (9.55/10.00) and the honorary title magna cum laude. She is also a holder of the LCCI Level 3 Certificate in Accounting. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued the ACCA qualification (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), where she distinguished herself as the Top Affiliate in Cyprus, ranking 2nd nationally and 60th globally.
Throughout her academic and professional development, she has participated in a range of seminars and workshops, including the Exploring Career Paths through CISI: Ethics and Integrity Workshop organized by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). She has additionally engaged in continuing professional development activities related to financial reporting, audit principles, and ethical decision-making in accounting. Rafaella’s interests focus on the application of high-standard accounting practices, professional integrity, and the role of transparent financial communication in modern organizations.
