Professor Platrites is a consultant clinical psychologist and at present is the Chief Clinical Psychologist of Cyprus Mental Health Services and the Chair of the Board of Cyprus Institute for Psychotherapy. Since 2016, he has been the Coordinator of SEPI’s (Society for the Exploration of Integrative Psychotherapy) Hellenic Regional Network.
During the last twenty years, he has provided psychotherapy and counselling services to people suffering from various mental health and psychosocial problems. Supervising and consulting students and mental health professionals and developing innovative health prevention, counselling and therapy programmes has become a high priority for him during the last decade.
